Brussels Girl Geek Dinner

About

Girl Geek Dinners are events for females who class themselves as girly and geeky. The events have a technical focus and are light hearted and fun.
This blog was created by Clo Willaerts to set up a Brussels Girl Geek Dinner.
Idea inspired by Sarah Blow of London Girl Geek Dinners. WP Design by Ine Dehandschutter. Adapted Girl Geek Dinners logo by Carolien. Original logo by Cole Henley.

Keep the date free: BGGD road trip to Paris, on 5 & 6 October

Posted in Girl Geek Dinners,Where and when by Clo Willaerts on the August 31st, 2010

Good news: the Brussels Girl Geeks will make another trip. And it’s going to be epic!

Registration will open soon but because I know you’re all busy ladies you might want to make some practical arrangements in time.

In short:

  • We leave on Tuesday 5 October 10:00 in Zellik
  • We will be driving ourselves – in shiny new cars so we can test them.
  • Destination: Paris (!)
  • Tuesday night: stay at the Dolce Chantilly hotel
  • Wednesday 6 October 16:00 back in Zellik, Belgium

And don’t worry: there’s room for 20 girl geeks!

Wanted: girl geeks who love scooters

Posted in Help,Sponsor love by Clo Willaerts on the August 10th, 2010

For all the Girl Geeks interested in scooters and motors, Honda Belgium organizes a testing evening with a short presentation of the features and an instructor to give tips and tricks. Interested? Email Sylvie dot Bove at honda-eu dot com.

The new Honda PCX was created for riders who desire the compact, economical advantages of a 125cc scooter and the modern, fashionable good looks more often associated with larger-displacement machines. In every aspect, from its low-noise, low-emissions operation to its easy handling and contemporary image, the Honda PCX is designed as a practical, fast and fun ride.
The Honda PCX is the first Honda scooter which is equipped with Honda’s new CV-Matic and the only scooter on the market equipped with the start-stop function.
