Brussels Girl Geek Dinners: keep in touch
It’s been a while since we announced a new Brussels Girl Geek Dinner. The reason is that we still get a lot of requests and ideas, but if, for example, the event would not be 100% free for the geek girls, I’m madame non. But don’t worry, we’ve got a few more cool editions in the pipeline and are just looking for ways to make it “click” for everyone involved. In the meanwhile, here are some ways you can keep track of upcoming Brussels Girl Geek Dinners, and get/keep in touch with each other:
- Facebook Group Brussels Girl Geek Dinners (369 members)
- Twitter List Brussels Girl Geek Dinners (following 255, followers 146)
- LinkedIn Group Brussels Girl Geek Dinners (219 members)
- Blog feed subscribe by e-mail (568 subscribers)
- Blog RSS feed (22 subscribers in Google Reader, not sure about the rest)

Red carpet for technoladies on 25 May in Brussels
Engineers, IT specialists, machine operators… only few of them are women. Belgium’s largest employers’ organisation and trade association Agoria wants this to change.
Therefore Agoria rolls out the red carpet for all the Technoladies.
Keynot speaker is globally renowned game designer Jane McGonigal (janemcgonigal.com, avantgame.com and twitter.com/avantgame). McGonigal is convinced that individuals who are used to tackling problems in computer games will also be more creative and faster at finding solutions to problems that might occur in real life.
Register now for this stylish female event, spiced up by the beats and dishes of our Lady DJ’s and the Bru Lady Chef of the Year 2011.
And if you are a man? You are most welcome too! We really need you to support our message… although during this event, all spotlights will be on the ladies!
