About

Girl Geek Dinners are events for females who class themselves as girly and geeky. The events have a technical focus and are light hearted and fun.

BGGD #11 Goodie bag sponsor: INCA Awards

Posted in Sponsor love, Girl Geek Dinners by Clo Willaerts on the March 9th, 2009

Good news on the goodie bags for Brussels Girl Geek Dinner #11 tomorrow in Antwerp: IBBT has kindly agreed to put a really cool gadget (hint: it’s Swiss, it glows a little in the dark, and it goes High Five) in each bag. They do so promote INCA (Innovative and Creative Applications) Award.

inca09.gifSo what is INCA?

Inca (@inca09 on Twitter) is a competition launched by IBBT to promote and reward user-driven innovation for public benefit. The scope is unlimited: widgets, web services, APIs, mash-ups, mobile or stand-alone apps.  Full guidelines to the INCA competition will be published on March 23rd.  Check www.inca-award.be now and submit your e-mail address for early bird info.
There’s €20 000 of total prize money for those who develop a new ICT application addressing collective needs and challenges in Flanders. The INCA Award ceremony will be held at the iMinds conference (May 12th, 2009 in Ghent).
Spread the love!

    Cheers and see you tomorrow,
