Brussels Girl Geek Dinner

About

Girl Geek Dinners are events for females who class themselves as girly and geeky. The events have a technical focus and are light hearted and fun.
This blog was created by Clo Willaerts to set up a Brussels Girl Geek Dinner.
Idea inspired by Sarah Blow of London Girl Geek Dinners. WP Design by Ine Dehandschutter. Adapted Girl Geek Dinners logo by Carolien. Original logo by Cole Henley.

Announcing BGGD #17 Yoga for Geeks

Posted in Sponsor love, Where and when, Girl Geek Dinners by Clo Willaerts on the September 30th, 2009

Yoga Warrior Pose, picture uploaded by Flickr user gtsurfI don’t know about you, but of all the Wii  Fit sports I like Yoga best. Of course, that’s not the real thing. Which is why Brussels Girl Geek Dinner is organising a Hatha Yoga session on Saturday 3 October 14:00-16:00 in Brussels.

Hatha Yoga is what most people in the West associate with the word “Yoga” and is practised for mental and physical health throughout the West. Hatha yoga consists of various movements, breath control exercises, and physical postures that can produce a profound state of inner union, vitality, and harmony.
(In case you’re wondering what to wear: just don’t pick anything that could restrict bodily movements. The obvious items including jeans, or shirts.  Try loose-fitting, sweat absorbent and comfortable clothes, like yoga shorts, sweat clothes, leotards or yoga pants.)

Glaceau Vitaminwater

Sponsor is Vitaminwater, so please give them lots of linklove: http://glaceauvitaminwater.be/

Want to join us? Then put your name on the wiki. Seats are limited to 40 ladies this time, so don’t wait too long!
