Extraordinary & magical: subtlemob in Gent
BGGD participates in the subtlemob by Duncan Speakman! An extraordinary and magical experience in the city centre of Ghent.

Do you know that feeling when you’re walking through the city with music in your headphones and you suddenly get the feeling you’re watching a movie? Everyday life is transformed into a scene from a movie, the streets form the setting, passers-by become extras… Duncan Speakman’s ‘As if it were the last time’ recreates that feeling with just a simple mp3 file. Duncan Speakman already held this subtlemob in London, Rotterdam and other cities, where it was always received with much enthusiasm by its participants. We meet at Foodmakers Gent (Korenmarkt 4) for lunch, a drink and coffee + a meet and greet with Duncan Speakman. After the subtlemob we gather at Muinkkaai (behind Vooruit) for a glass of bubbles with a view on the light sculpture by artist Pablo Valbuena on the back facade of Vooruit and the University buildings (part of Almost Cinema)

Course of the evening:

• 18:30    Dinner @ Foodmakers Gent (korenmarkt 4, Gent)
• 19:30    On the way to subtlemob
• 20:00    Start subtlemob
• 21:00    Bubbles @Vooruit
