Brussels Girl Geek Dinner

Last Saturday I went to the Next08 gaming, electronics and IT event and I was totally wowed by the Guitar Hero World Tour demos. Guitar Hero World Tour is the first game in the Guitar Hero series to feature drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocal parts.

I definitely don’t have space in my living room for a drum, microphone and two-guitar set-up, but maybe we could mess around a bit with it and have a Rock Band session at the upcoming Brussels Girl Geek Dinner this Wednesday. After all, the theme is Music+Technology, right?

So my appeal is twofold:

1. If you have a Guitar Hero III guitar (usb, for xbox) please bring it along. I will bring a very basic Guitar Hero III (iMac) setup with one guitar so if we have two or more we can organise some Guitar Battles.
2. If you know someone who works either at a games store or at Sony/Nintendo/Activision.. please let me know. I know it’s very short notice, but it would be so cool if we could have a Guitar Hero World Tour set up this Wednesday during Brussels Girl Geek Dinner #9.
